Why Go Alpha Phi?

Alpha Phi is one of the largest sororities and has been in existence for over 135 years. There are hundreds of chapters across the United States and Canada with over a million collegiate and alumni members across the world. The Beta Omega chapter at Kent State University prides itself on a membership made up of classy, intelligent, and sophisticated young women with a strong sense of individuality that are bonded by sisterhood. Whether you are a scholar, an athlete, or a beauty queen, Alpha Phi is a home for you. During your college experience, as an Alpha Phi you will meet your study buddies, roommates, your future bridesmaids, and ultimately your support network that will outlast your college career.

There will also be time for you to expand your social horizons and meet new friends. This may happen in your dorm with friends you met down the hall, or at a party with friends you went to high school with. But why not make new connections during Homecoming, Greek Week, Formal, and socials with fraternities? Alpha Phi provides you with ample opportunities to spend time socializing with your sisters, while at the same time, keeping each other safe. As sisters, we keep an eye on one another through our Watchcare program and practice this time-honored tradition that began with our ten Founders.

By being a part of Alpha Phi, you will always have someone to walk to class with, to count on for fashion and boy advice, or to support you during a rough time. The bonds of friendship and sisterhood create an amazing energy in a room full of Alpha Phis. Be it at a recruitment function, a social event, or a philanthropic event between Greeks across campus, the friendships that are formed in Alpha Phi will truly last a lifetime.
