Chapter House of Beta Omega
The Alpha Phi Chapter House at Kent State University was built in 1972 and is one of six sorority houses at Kent State University. Located on the South side of campus on Fraternity Circle, the Alpha Phi house is situated between the Delta Gamma, Delta Zeta, and Sigma Sigma Sigma houses and is within walking distance to campus. The Alpha Phi house offers a unique apartment-style setting allowing four girls to live comfortably in each apartment. There are 9 apartments in the entire house, housing a total of 30 girls and our House Mother. Each apartment offers a spacious living room, two bedrooms, a full size kitchen, and a bathroom, all of which have been recently remodeled with new appliances and décor.
Downstairs, a newly renovated living room complete with a big screen TV and comfortable couches allow sisters to relax and visit with one another. Off to the side, the dining room and kitchen areas allow sisters to grab a snack from the salad bar or dine together during lunch, dinner, and special occasions while enjoying the delicious meals and desserts created by our very own cook.

The chapter room allows members to quietly study in a secluded area giving them more room to spread out. Two computers are provided and offer members internet access and printing privileges as well as a copy machine. Trophies, awards, and scrapbooks line the shelves and allow members to share memories of their Alpha Phi experience.

The back of the house features a newly built deck allowing the girls to enjoy the fresh air and relax. It overlooks the parking lot where those living in the house are allowed to park free of charge. Living in the Alpha Phi house is an experience that each member looks forward to, and remembers for a lifetime.
